19 freight railcars derailed in Kazakhstan

In Kazakhstan, at the Karabas station of the Karaganda-Akadyr section, 19 wagons derailed in a freight train. There are no victims or injured, according to NC KTZ JSC.

“According to preliminary data, the derailment occurred due to jamming of the wheelset of the first grain carrier owned by a private owner. To investigate the circumstances of the incident, a special commission has been created at JSC NC KTZ," the statement says.

Due to the accident, two passenger trains were detained at the stations: Kulaygyr, Karaganda.

Earlier it was reported that a section of the Samara-Shymkent highway was closed to motorists.
