In Dushanbe, during a meeting between Sultan Rahimzoda, the Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, and Valid Abdulrahman A. Al-Reshaidan, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Tajikistan, the state of cooperation between Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia in the trade and economic sphere was discussed, Avesta reports.

The discussion included topics such as financing for the Rogun Hydroelectric Power Plant, bilateral trade flows, cargo transportation, the activities of Saudi companies in Tajikistan, and the visit of Saudi businessmen to Tajikistan.

The parties also deliberated on the presentation of investment opportunities, the establishment of Saudi companies in Tajikistan, and more. Both sides expressed readiness to strengthen further cooperation, particularly through the organization of upcoming joint commission meetings and investment forums.
