All agricultural machinery in Uzbekistan will be switched to environmentally friendly natural fuel, Podrobno.uz reports.
The total cost of the project "Creating a platform of environmentally friendly agricultural machinery for Uzbekistan" is 13 million US dollars, of which 10 million dollars are gratuitous assistance from South Korea, and 3 million dollars are funds from the Uzbek "Uzavtosanoat".
As part of the initiative, it is planned to create a Research and Development Center (R&D) in Uzbekistan, as well as transfer agricultural machinery to environmentally friendly natural fuel. We are talking about liquefied natural gas. This is a modern generation of LPG equipment that is safe for the engine, has a low cost and requires minimal driver intervention in its operation.
The project is being developed by the Korean Institute of High Technology.
In order to carefully study the project, a delegation consisting of representatives of the Ministry of Innovative Development, the UzTEST center and the Khokimiyat of the city of Chirchik made a working trip to the Republic of Korea.
