The air in Tashkent has become one of the cleanest in the world, according to the IQAir service, Nova24.uz reports.
In the rating of atmospheric pollution, the city took the 100th place out of a hundred possible.
The concentration of PM2.5 in the air in Tashkent now corresponds to the WHO recommended average annual air quality value.
All 4 stations show good indicators of air purity, and the city itself is in 100th place in the world, next to Salt Lake City (USA) and Sydney.
Earlier it was reported that AGMK (Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine near Tashkent) was accused of polluting the air in the capital. The plant responded to the statement and denied the involvement of air pollution.
