From January to May, 162,600 cars were produced in Uzbekistan. UzAuto Motors accounted for 89% of the total production volume, reports Podrobno.uz.
During this period, UzAuto Motors produced 144,800 cars. Following it is the ADM Jizzakh plant, which manufactures KIA, Chery, Haval, and Hyundai cars. The list is completed by the Asaka Motors plant, responsible for producing Exeed and Geely cars.
Most of the cars are produced under the Chevrolet brand, with 144,000 units. KIA is in second place with 7,400 units. The list is rounded off by Isuzu and Exeed, with 137 and 132 units, respectively.
The most produced models are the Cobalt, Damas/Labo, and Tracker. The least produced models are the Kia K9, Haval Jolion, and Haval H6.
