The IX International Trade Fair "Sughd-2023" was held in the Tajik city of Khujand. Its main goal is to increase the export potential of the region, establish mutually beneficial cooperation with foreign countries, and introduce new technologies, Ritmeurasia.org reports.
In 2022, more than 500 guests from the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Iran, China, Turkey, Saudi Arabia took part in the fair. More than 200 manufacturers of goods and services presented their products, 60 contracts and agreements on cooperation were signed.
And the very next day, the Apricot Festival and the exhibition “Dried Fruits of Tajikistan” will be held in the Iram Park in Dushanbe. Various agricultural products will be exhibited, including apricots, products from these fruits, dried fruits, crops.
The cultural part of the event provides for the awarding of agricultural leaders.
