The progress of the construction of the Obigarm-Nurobod highway, which is being implemented by Tajik branches of several Chinese companies, was inspected by the Chinese Ambassador to Tajikistan, Ji Shumin.
The diplomat held a meeting with compatriots—project employees, familiarized himself with work related to safe production on the sites, and with the working and living conditions of Chinese employees, reports Khovar.tj.
"The above-mentioned projects are an important component of the Central Asia Economic Cooperation Corridor, and their construction will be very important for effectively promoting transport connectivity in Tajikistan and the region," emphasized the Chinese Embassy in Tajikistan.
