The meeting of the Working Group on the refinement of the Targeted Interstate Program of the CSTO for the strengthening of the Tajik-Afghan border section took place with the participation of experts from the relevant ministries and agencies of the CSTO member states, Avesta reports citing the organization's press service.
The meeting was held at the CSTO Secretariat under the chairmanship of the Tajik side.
The participants of the meeting were addressed with welcoming words by the Secretary-General of the CSTO, Imangali Tasmagambetov, and the Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of Tajikistan, Sharaf Fayzullozoda.
The meeting participants discussed the draft Targeted Interstate Program of the CSTO for the strengthening of the Tajik-Afghan border section. The next meeting of the Working Group to refine the Program is scheduled for February 2024.
