Defense ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Russia signed two agreements

The defense ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Russia Baktybek Bekbolotov and Sergei Shoigu signed two agreements during a meeting in Astana, 24.kg reports.

The message says that “as a result of the meeting, two interdepartmental agreements were signed: “On information exchange” and “On interaction in the field of identifying and assessing the radiation, chemical and biological situation.”

Also during the negotiations, the heads of defense departments discussed current issues of interaction in the military sphere, and also outlined prospects for further cooperation.

A meeting of defense ministers of member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is taking place in Astana. It is attended by the heads of the defense departments of India, Iran, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
