Dragon Oil is beginning to apply artificial intelligence technologies for geological exploration, data interpretation, and reservoir property assessment at Turkmenistan's fields. This was stated by the company's Chief Executive Officer, Ali Al Jarwan, in an interview with the newspaper Neutral Turkmenistan, as reported by Turkmenportal.com.

According to him, the company has already implemented a 3D seismic project at the Cheleken block and the adjacent Block 19 in cooperation with the state concern Turkmenneft. Currently, Dragon Oil is transitioning from 3D seismic exploration to conducting geological surveys, the results of which will serve as the foundation for a production diversification program.

Key areas of further cooperation between the company and the Turkmen side include increasing hydrocarbon production and processing volumes, as well as expanding the export of Turkmen oil, gas, and petrochemical products.

Dragon Oil Plc is an oil company registered in Ireland. Its activities are primarily focused on Turkmenistan's Caspian shelf. The company's headquarters is in Dubai. Dragon Oil is engaged in hydrocarbon extraction within the Cheleken contract area in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea. This zone includes two fields: the Jeitun oil field and the Jigalibek gas field.
