The 11th National Rule of Law Forum has opened in Dushanbe, coinciding with Tajikistan’s Constitution Day, the country’s Ministry of Justice reports.

The event brought together representatives of government bodies, foreign ministries of justice, international organizations, academia, and civil society. Its main goal is to discuss ways to strengthen the rule of law, ensure equality before the law, and improve the national legal system.

Participants exchanged experiences on access to justice, human rights protection, and the development of criminal and legal policy. Following the discussions, recommendations will be drafted for further review by relevant authorities.

Organizers emphasized that the forum serves as an important dialogue platform connecting state institutions, the expert community, and international partners — fostering the principles of the rule of law and supporting the continued development of Tajikistan’s legal framework.
