Economy of Kazakhstan grew by more than 4.5%

According to the results for January-September 2023, Kazakhstan's economy has grown by 4.7%. The highest growth is observed in sectors such as construction, trade, information, and communication, as stated by the Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan, Alibek Kuantyrov, during a government meeting, Vlast.kz reports.

Kuantyrov stated, "According to the results for January-September of this year, the growth rate of Kazakhstan's economy was 4.7%, including real sector growth at 3.7% and services at 5.1%. Among the industries, the highest growth is demonstrated in construction, trade, as well as information and communication."

He also mentioned that the growth rate of investments in fixed capital reached 12.1%, with investment inflow increasing by 59.4% in transportation and warehousing, 37.5% in trade, 23.7% in education, 12.9% in agriculture, and 8.2% in industry, including a 4.3% increase in the mining industry. According to the Minister, the best performance is observed in the Mangystau, Turkestan, and Pavlodar regions, as well as in the Abai region.

At the same time, to ensure further economic growth, Kuantyrov recommended that central and local executive bodies provide prompt assistance in solving possible issues related to crop collection, logistics, and storage, complete the implementation of investment projects within established timelines, actively promote the export of domestic products, and prevent seasonal price increases for socially significant food products.
