The research company United Research Technologies Group has published the results of a survey of Kazakhstani citizens, which shows that the majority of those wishing to leave the country want to move to Russia, reports Kursiv.

According to the publication, 20% of respondents expressed a desire to change their place of residence, with 26.7% of them wanting to move to Russia, the USA, Turkey, and Central Asian countries.

Of that group, 29% are considering relocating to Russia, 12% to the USA, 10.3% to Turkey, and 3.6% to Central Asian countries (with one-third of them wishing to move to Uzbekistan).

The main reason cited for relocation is the desire to improve their financial well-being. Just under half (40.6%) want to find more interesting and better-paid jobs to improve their economic situation.
