The export of digital services and products per capita in Kyrgyzstan amounted to just over 300 soms, or about $4, in 2021. And this is the highest figure among the countries of Central Asia. This is stated in the Strateg East report “A Billion at a Distance: IT Exports from Central Asia and Strategies for Its Growth,” reports Economist.kg.
The data is provided by the High-Tech Park of Kyrgyzstan with reference to a study in which experts analyzed the information technology markets of the entire region with the participation of its active representatives.
It is noted that the regional report and policy recommendations "A Billion at a Distance: IT Export from Central Asia and Strategies for its Growth" were prepared by Strateg East with the support of USAID and the EBRD.
