Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan sent TOGG electric vehicles as a gift to the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Turkmenportal.tm reports.
Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kajiri, who arrived to attend the opening ceremony of Arkadag, the first smart city in Turkmenistan, and Chairman of the Union of Chambers and Exchanges Rifat Hisarciklioglu handed over the keys to TOGG electric vehicles to the President of Turkmenistan on behalf of Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
As reported on the official website of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, the plant for the serial production of TOGG cars was opened on October 29, 2022 with the participation of President Erdogan.
It is planned to produce 177,000 such electric vehicles annually. The plant's production capacity is expected to reach 1 million by 2030. Cars are produced in 2 types - 200 and 400 horsepower. The most powerful of them can reach speeds of up to 100 kilometers per hour and cover a distance of 500 kilometers on a single charge.
