Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev received US Assistant Secretary of State for Central and South Asian Affairs Donald Lu during his visit to the region, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.
At the meeting, the parties discussed key issues and prospects for the development of bilateral relations, including issues of security, green economy, as well as cooperation within the framework of the C5 + 1 mechanism.
Minister Kulubaev emphasized that the Kyrgyz side always stands for mutual consideration of interests and mutually beneficial cooperation between states.
In turn, the American side reaffirmed its commitment to assist in strengthening democratic institutions and civil society in the country.
At the end of the conversation, the parties reaffirmed their mutual intention to continue the dialogue on a wide range of bilateral cooperation.
