Following the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Bishkek, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov spoke to the media and stated that the basis for financing industrial cooperation had been laid. The governments were instructed to develop relevant acts of the Union, the press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan reports.
"We approved the main directions of the international activities of the Eurasian Economic Union for the next year, and also decided to start negotiations with the United Arab Emirates to conclude a trade agreement," Zhaparov said summing up the meeting in Bishkek.
"I would like to note that work has been carried out to simplify tax administration and facilitate doing business in the field of electronic services. Today we signed the Protocol on Amendments to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union in terms of determining the procedure for collecting indirect taxes when providing services in electronic form," emphasized Zhaparov.
Within the framework of the Union, special attention is paid to the removal of obstacles in the internal market of the Union. "Today we discussed this issue in detail and agreed to intensify work in this direction," the President of Kyrgyzstan said in conclusion.
The Presidents of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, as well as the Prime Minister of Armenia took part in the work of the Supreme Council of the EAEU in Bishkek.
