Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia

The National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, met with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud during his working visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, TDH reports.

During the meeting, the Turkmen leader thanked the Crown Prince for inviting him to participate in the "United Water" summit, congratulated him on the successful organization of the event, and conveyed warm greetings from President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia share similar approaches to key international issues, providing a solid foundation for coordinating efforts on the global stage.

The discussion focused on strengthening bilateral relations, emphasizing collaboration within international organizations like the United Nations. The leaders also discussed expanding trade and economic ties and enhancing cooperation in energy and transport-communication sectors. Cultural and humanitarian connections, which bolster the friendship between the peoples of Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia, received special attention.
