From January to June 2023, Uzbekistan imported more than 5,403 electric vehicles from 10 foreign countries, according to the Agency on Statistics of Uzbekistan.
Most of the cars were brought from China.
The amount of imports amounted to $167 million. Imports of electric vehicles increased by 4289 units or almost 5 times compared to the same period in 2022.
