From July 7 to 14, 2023, the export in Kyrgyzstan of non-quarantine products amounted to 8,390 tons, which is 23.4% higher than the previous week, the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan reports.
From the Chui region, 6,429 tons of agricultural products were exported. The majority of exports consisted of vegetables, totaling 2,588 tons, which were sent to Russia, Kazakhstan, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, and Afghanistan.
From the Osh region, 1,586 tons of agricultural products were exported. This week, the Osh region sent 971 tons of fruits and vegetables to Russia.
From the Talas region, 448.43 tons of agricultural products were shipped. The export of beans from the Talas region reached 242 tons, with shipments to Russia, Serbia, Macedonia, and Iran.
From the Jalal-Abad region, 312.3 tons of agricultural products were exported. This week, 160 tons of capers were sent to Turkey, and 38 tons of dried fruits were exported to Germany and Russia.
From the Batken region, 63 tons of agricultural products were exported. This week, 22 tons of garlic, 22 tons of potatoes, and 19 tons of nuts were shipped to Uzbekistan.
From the Issyk-Kul region, 1,139 tons of agricultural products were exported. This week, 949 kilograms of medicinal herbs were exported to Russia, and 190 kilograms of fruits were sent to Kazakhstan.
