Industrial climbers, including specialists from the private enterprise "Ovadan Arzu," founded in 2014, contribute to maintaining the beauty of high-rise buildings in Turkmenistan, according to an article in the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan."
The founders of the enterprise, Rinat Kurbaev and Rinat Gizatullin, shared their perspectives on the industrial climbing market in Turkmenistan and its features. Currently, all climbing work is carried out using modern professional equipment from leading global manufacturers. The climbers' gear includes modern individual safety systems, loops, rope clamps, and braking devices. The high quality of the equipment ensures the execution of operational tasks at extreme heights, says R. Gizatullin. Physical fitness is mandatory for climbers, so industrial climbing is closely related to sports rock climbing. An industrial climber can hang in the open air for up to ten hours, performing various tasks on building facades.
During the summer, work is mainly carried out in the evening and at night since the daytime heat heats both the working tools and the objects themselves—windows, marble, and so on. The climbers' portfolio includes the tallest structures, including the TeleRadioBroadcasting Center "Turkmenistan," which is over two hundred meters high and, according to specialists, is not only one of the tallest objects but also the most complex in terms of architectural composition.
The last work at such heights was carried out in the Boldumsaz district of the Dashoguz region on a television tower.
"Most of our team members are former and current athletes," says R. Kurbaev. "Now they work as highly qualified industrial climbers who have completed the relevant preparatory courses. We specialize in cleaning and construction and installation work, which are extremely necessary given that our beautiful capital is expanding with new modern buildings."
R. Kurbaev is confident that industrial climbing in Turkmenistan is currently one of the promising sectors in the private sector. The emergence of new companies in the industrial climbing services market is confirmation of this trend, and healthy market competition, in turn, leads to improved service quality.
Every year, dozens of construction projects emerge in the country that need maintenance. Therefore, the state supports the development of this segment. In this regard, it is worth noting the regulated rules that have made industrial climbing in Turkmenistan one of the safest in the world.
