Kazakh singer Aina Kalmaganbetova became the owner of the Grand Prix of the III International Issyk-Kul Festival of Popular Music Performers "Maykin Asia", which was held from August 18 to 20 on the coast of Issyk-Kul, Kazinform reports.
The main prize of the festival in the amount of 5 thousand US dollars, a diploma and a special statuette of the competition were presented to the winner from Kazakhstan Aina Kalmaganbetova by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov.
The prize for the first place of 3 thousand US dollars and memorable gifts were awarded to Ruslan Asankan (Kyrgyzstan) and Begyum Tekakpynar (Northern Cyprus), the second place and a cash prize of 2 thousand US dollars were won by Sarvinoz Kamalova (Uzbekistan) and Nado Talevska (North Macedonia), the third place and 1 thousand US dollars went to Adilkhan Makin (Kazakhstan) and Kasiyet Idrisova (Kyrgyzstan). A special award of the festival was received by a contestant from Turkey, Jevher Aksoy.
The international panel of judges, which included prominent representatives of the culture of Turkey, North Macedonia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Germany, Russia and other countries, evaluated the talent and skill of young contestants.
Recall that in the III international festival of popular music performers "Meikin Asia", which was held for three days on the coast of Issyk-Kul, young performers aged 18 to 35 years old, who arrived from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Hungary, Turkey, Northern Cyprus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Russia, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Slovenia and Serbia.
The music competition ended with a gala concert with performances by well-known domestic and foreign performers.
Now the world-famous Kazakh singer Dimash Kudaibergen became the first winner of this Festival in 2013.
