In Tokyo, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan, A. Bayramov, met with Japan’s Minister of Justice, Keisuke Suzuki, to discuss the development of bilateral relations, with a particular focus on legal cooperation within the "Central Asia + Japan" framework, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan reports.
The Japanese side presented initiatives aimed at strengthening legal cooperation and mutual understanding between the two countries.
The Turkmen side invited the Minister to visit Turkmenistan and provided information on upcoming international events:

The Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, scheduled for August 5–8 in Awaza, and

The forum dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, as well as the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality, set for December 12 in Ashgabat.
Both parties agreed to continue cooperation within the framework of the "Central Asia + Japan" Dialogue.
Established in 2004, the "Central Asia + Japan" Dialogue brings together Japan and five Central Asian countries, including Turkmenistan, to collaborate on energy, sustainable development, transport, law, and humanitarian issues.
