The President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, and his spouse, upon their arrival in Japan, were welcomed by Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako, the press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan announced.
The Emperor and Empress expressed hope that the visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan to Japan would have a positive impact on the entire spectrum of Kyrgyz-Japanese bilateral relations.
President Japarov, expressing gratitude for the hospitality, noted that Japan is a friendly country for Kyrgyzstan with rich historical traditions and ancient culture.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a reception was held in honor of Sadyr Japarov and his spouse, Aigul Japarova, on behalf of Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako.
