Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan will discuss joint export of agricultural products to the world market, Sputnik Azerbaijan reports. This was stated by the director of the Center for Agrarian Innovations under the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan Anar Jafarov, Ritmeurasia.ru reports.
He spoke at the Azerbaijani-Kazakh agricultural forum. At it, Jafarov described the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in the field of agriculture.
"The agricultural forum will contribute to the development of cooperation between the two countries in the agricultural sector. Azerbaijan has a fairly broad agenda for cooperation with Kazakhstan, the countries also interact at the international level," Jafarov said.
He noted that Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan should discuss joint export of agricultural products to the world market.
Jafarov pointed out that both countries are actively cooperating with each other within the framework of international organizations, including the Organization of Turkic States (OTG). According to him, the city of Guba is currently the agricultural capital of the OTG.
Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan Alim Bayel, speaking at the forum, noted that cooperation between the two countries has significantly increased in recent years. Today, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are strategic partners.
