Kazakhstan and European Investment Bank expand cooperation

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu, and Vice President of the European Investment Bank, Teresa Chervinski, discussed a wide range of mutually interesting issues in Luxembourg. This included the possibility of implementing investment and technological projects in Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan reports.

Minister Nurtleu expressed an interest in attracting funds from the European Investment Bank and the swift opening of an office in Astana, which could significantly expand the Bank's investment portfolio and presence in the region. He also called on the European Investment Bank to consider the possibility of closer cooperation in the field of "green" financing and innovation exchange with the International Financial Center of Astana.

The parties agreed to establish a special working group and develop a Roadmap for detailed investment cooperation.
