Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan Nurlan Abdirov announced the preliminary results of the election of deputies to the Majilis and maslikhats, Zakon.kz reports.
According to the preliminary results of the CEC:
3,431,510 people voted for the Amanat party, 53.9%;
for the People's Democratic Patriotic Party "Auyl" - 693,938, 10.9%;
for the party Respublica - 547,154, 8.59%;
for the Democratic Party of Kazakhstan "Ak Zhol" - 535,139, 8.41%;
for the People's Party of Kazakhstan - 432,920, 6.8%;
for the National Social Democratic Party - 331,058, 5.2%;
for the Kazakhstan Green Party "Baytak" - 146,431, 2.3%.
The column "Against all" was marked by 248,291 Kazakhstanis or 3.9%.
On Sunday, March 19, elections of deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament and maslikhats of all levels were held in Kazakhstan. 7 political parties were admitted to the elections to the Mazhilis.
