Kazakhstan is not in negotiations with Ukraine regarding the purchase of Russian military equipment for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (VSU). The Kazakh Ministry of Defense reported this and urged not to believe the rumors.

"The information circulating in the media and social networks, claiming that Kazakhstan is allegedly negotiating with 'Ukrspetsexport' to purchase Russian military products for the needs of the VSU, does not correspond to reality," the statement said.

The Ministry reminded that since 2022, the export of weapons and military equipment from Kazakhstan has been prohibited. The information that appeared in the media is an attempt to discredit the country, concluded the ministry.

Earlier, there were reports in the media that the state company "Ukrspetsexport" is allegedly negotiating with Kazakhstan to purchase Russian-made military products for the needs of the VSU.
