Kazakhstan increase cooperation with largest US companies

Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Gabidulla Ospankulov, and overseas representative of the national company Kazakh Invest, Marat Birimzhan, held negotiations in Washington with executives of major American companies specializing in technological solutions, industry, healthcare, and energy. The discussions focused on investment prospects, technology exchange, and production localization in Kazakhstan, a statement of the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs says.

The first key meeting was a visit to the Honeywell Technology Experience Center, where the parties discussed innovative solutions in industrial automation, the production of alternative aviation fuel, manufacturing digitalization, and the implementation of advanced technologies in Kazakhstan.

During negotiations with Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), a leading global agribusiness corporation, the sides explored opportunities for deeper cooperation in agricultural processing, the introduction of advanced technologies in the agro-sector, and the expansion of export supplies. The Kazakh delegation presented promising projects related to grain processing and vegetable oil production, emphasizing favorable conditions for the localization of production.

A meeting with Pfizer focused on the development of Kazakhstan’s pharmaceutical industry, the adoption of modern biotechnologies, and the localization of pharmaceutical production.

Talks were also held with Leidos, a major American company specializing in technology, security, and digital solutions.

G. Ospankulov reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s commitment to strengthening investment cooperation with American companies, offering flexible support mechanisms and favorable conditions for implementing projects in key industries.
