The trade turnover between Kazakhstan and the EAEU countries in the period January-November 2022 amounted to $25,585.9 million, which is 7.1% more in nominal terms compared to the same period in 2021, according to the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of Kazakhstan .
Export of goods amounted to $8,632.8 million (22.3% more), import - $16,953.1 million (0.7% more).
In the total volume of foreign trade turnover between Kazakhstan and the EAEU countries, the Russian Federation occupies the lion's share with 92.3%, followed by Kyrgyzstan - 4%, Belarus - 3.6% and Armenia - 0.1%.
The largest increase in exports with the EAEU countries is observed for chemical elements, which increased by 2.1 times compared to the same period last year. At the same time, a decrease is observed in ores and iron concentrates, including burnt pyrite (less by 77.2%).
In imports, the largest increase was noted for wheat and meslin - an increase of 1.7 times. At the same time, a decrease is observed in passenger cars and other motor vehicles (less by 76.2%).
