Kazakhstan’s oil and gas condensate production reached 75.7 million tons in January–September 2025, marking a 13.2% increase compared to the same period in 2024, Energy Minister Erlan Akkenzhenov reported at a government session on the country’s fuel and energy sector, according to Forbes.kz.
He noted that the target for 2025 is 96.2 million tons.
During the same period, Kazakhstan exported 60.5 million tons of oil, a 14.9% increase in shipments abroad compared to January–September 2024. The 2025 export target is 70.5 million tons.
The Ministry of Energy also reported that Kazakhstan produced 477,200 tons of petrochemical products, up 15.8%, against a 2025 target of 589,700 tons (+9.2% compared to 2024).
Minister Akkenzhenov added that oil product output reached 11.6 million tons, or 110.1% of the same period in 2024. The year-end target is 13.7 million tons, or 100.7% of 2024’s output.
