Kazakhstan offers its cars for sale in Afghanistan

The Kazakh-Afghan business forum was held in Kabul. It presented the products and services of 35 companies from Kazakhstan, such as Qarmet, the Doscar Group dealership center (Kia, Chevrolet brands), the Kentau Transformer Plant, the Kaspy Group of companies (manufacturing of metal structures, production agricultural machinery).

There were also manufacturers of laboratory tests, medicines, oil and fat products, confectionery, textiles, etc., reports Ritmeurasia.

At the opening of the business forum, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin recalled that following the results of the last visit of the Afghan delegation to Kazakhstan, the task was set to increase bilateral trade turnover to $3 billion. At the end of 2023, trade volume reached $2 billion.

“We propose to consider interaction in the chemical industry and the mining and metallurgical complex, on the implementation of joint projects in Afghanistan in the field of geological exploration, mining and processing of solid minerals, as well as in the field of IT technologies. The Kazakh side is interested in the supply of domestically produced cars with the subsequent localization of dealership centers to service them in Afghanistan,” said S. Zhumangarin.
