The distribution and management of transboundary waters, experience exchange, and the joint implementation of advanced technologies play an important role in ensuring water security across Central Asia."

It should be recalled that at the 12th meeting of the joint working group on deepening bilateral water cooperation, Nurzhan Nurzhigitov and the Minister of Water Management of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Khamraev, agreed that from October 2024 to October 2025, Uzbekistan will supply Kazakhstan with more than 16 billion cubic meters of water.
