More than 20 countries of the world buy serials filmed in Kazakhstan, said the Minister of Information and Social Development of Kazakhstan Darkhan Kydyrali, Kazinform reports.
“Relevant topics are provided within the domestic series. For example, family values, respect for the elders, attention to the younger, working people - such areas are being introduced into the series,” Darkhan Kydyrali said at a meeting in the Senate on the role and place of the media and social networks in the formation of state ideology.
In this regard, Minister Kydyrali noted that Kazakh serials are in demand abroad.
“Our series are in great demand in the domestic and international markets. Last year alone, about 100 series were sold to 20 countries. There is a demand for animated films made in Kazakhstan,” Darkhan Kydyrali added.
