The head coach of the Kyrgyzstan national team, Stefan Tarkovic, commented on the team's success: "The match was tough, with both teams showing excellent football. Despite the challenging climatic conditions, the game was dynamic and intense. I am proud of my team and each of its players. The final result of today's match is fair, as both teams were evenly matched."

The Kyrgyzstan team could have secured the right to participate in the final games of the Asian Championship ahead of schedule. However, in the match on June 6, it failed to defeat the Malaysian team, playing to a 1-1 draw. In the final round, the Malaysian team defeated the Chinese Taipei team with a score of 3-1, but remained in third place with 10 points.
