In Bishkek, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubayev and the Ambassador of China to Kyrgyzstan Du Dewen.
During the talks, the parties discussed the issue of advancing the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway construction project and exchanged views on progress in this direction, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The Chinese Ambassador was accompanied by the head of the commercial group of the Joint Preparatory Group for the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway Ma Zheng and other members of the delegation.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to actively promote the earliest possible launch of the construction of the project.
