The government of Kyrgyzstan has expressed its readiness to further strengthen bilateral cooperation with Iran, said the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, during a meeting with the Deputy First Vice President for International Affairs and Regional Cooperation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Najafi Khoshroudi.
He noted that the visit of the Iranian delegation would be useful for "synchronizing positions" and identifying new prospects for cooperation, according to the press service of the Government of Kyrgyzstan.
For his part, Ali Najafi Khoshroudi stated that Iran sees great potential in developing cooperation with Kyrgyzstan, particularly in light of Iran obtaining observer status in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), and is ready to make every effort to implement the planned initiatives.
The head of the Iranian delegation invited the Kyrgyz side to the international exhibition Iran Expo – 2025, which will be held on April 27-28 of this year. During the visit, a proposal was made to hold the next meeting of the Kyrgyz-Iranian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Cultural, and Humanitarian Cooperation.
