The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has approved the Green Economy Development Program through 2029. The decision was signed by Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev, KyrTAG.kg reports.
The document aims to strengthen the institutionalization of green economy principles and implement green initiatives at both macro and micro levels across priority sectors of the national economy.
According to the resolution, an action plan, a program indicator matrix, and a resource cost assessment have been approved.
Heads of executive bodies, presidential envoys in the regions, and local government leaders are held personally responsible for the quality and timely implementation of the program’s action plan.
