Kyrgyzstan considers cooperation with German business priority

The First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, held a meeting with a delegation from the Federal Union of Medium-sized Businesses in Germany, led by a member of its federal board, Jan Andreas.

During the meeting, Kasymaliev stated that Germany is one of Kyrgyzstan's priority partners. He particularly highlighted the mutual visits of the heads of the two states in 2023 and the outcomes of the agreements reached, including the entry of major German companies like "Knauf" into Kyrgyzstan.

He also mentioned that in 2022, a Kyrgyz-German Business Council was established for the first time in the history of bilateral relations.

Furthermore, Kasymaliev pointed out examples of successful German businesses operating in Kyrgyzstan and expressed the willingness of the Cabinet of Ministers to create favorable conditions for all foreign investors. In this context, he discussed the investment opportunities in Kyrgyzstan and emphasized that the country has significant potential in the field of hydroenergy, renewable energy sources, and the "green" economy.
