Kyrgyzstan is gradually transitioning into a different "league" of countries, one that is more competitive and stronger. This was stated by the head of the cabinet, Akylbek Japarov, during an extended meeting with the staff of the presidential administration of Kyrgyzstan, reports Economist.kg.
According to him, the time has come to move beyond the current realities. Kyrgyzstan must present itself to the world as an established country with great ambitions, ready to implement large-scale projects such as the construction of the Kambar-Ata Hydroelectric Power Plant-1 and the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway.
The head of Kyrgyzstan's cabinet also reminded that the country must enter the top 30 best countries in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030, as well as reach a GDP of $30 billion by 2030.
