Kyrgyzstan imported cars worth more than $477 million. This information comes from the data provided by the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan, Akchabar reports.
As expected, the largest volume of imported passenger cars came from China. Over the course of two months, 17.6 thousand passenger cars were imported from China, amounting to a total of $299 million.
From South Korea, 4.7 thousand cars were imported, totaling $35.2 million. The top three leaders in passenger car imports are rounded out by the United States, with 1.5 thousand cars imported for a total of $32 million.
During the same period in 2023, Kyrgyzstan imported 12 thousand cars, amounting to a total of $196.4 million.
