The volume of foreign trade for the Kyrgyz Republic increased by 29% for January to November 2023, analysts from the Eurasian Development Bank reports.

Export growth reached 36.7%, contrasting with a 20.9% contraction in the previous year, while imports increased by 27.2% compared to a 77% growth in the preceding year.

"The key factors determining the positive dynamics of exports are the recovery of shipments of basic metals abroad and an increase in the export volumes of metallic ores. The increase in imports occurred primarily due to the import of automobiles," state experts from the Eurasian Development Bank.
