Today, the issue of participation of the Russian side in the localization of individual production facilities from the Russian Federation to Kyrgyzstan is of particular relevance, Akylbek Zhaparov, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, said at a meeting of the Kyrgyz-Russian intergovernmental commission. The meeting of the commission was held in Bishkek, 24.kg reports.
There is potential in the mutual expansion of business presence in the markets of the two countries, Zhaparov said. They can participate in the implementation of joint initiatives and modern projects. In addition, the issues of increasing Russia's investment participation in projects in Kyrgyzstan remain in the focus of priority attention.
"We are interested in Russian investors actively participating in the economic life of Kyrgyzstan. The Cabinet of Ministers, in turn, is ready to support advanced ideas, sustainable and innovative projects, provide maximum assistance in their implementation and protect their interests," Zhaparov said.
“In relation to the activities of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, I would like to note that there is an increase in the effectiveness of its work and positive dynamics in the volume of financing of investment projects. The importance of business and investment forums organized under his auspices is growing,” he added.
