Kyrgyzstan is prepared to expand its project portfolio with South Korea in the "green" economy and sustainable energy. This was revealed during a meeting between the Deputy Minister of Economy of Kyrgyzstan, Kanat Abdrakhmanov, and the Vice President of the Korean agency KOICA, Lee Yun Young, in South Korea, Economist.kg reports.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current project portfolio as well as planned projects, including a pilot project to transition the "Kyrgyzpochtasy" vehicle fleet to electric vehicles and digitalization projects.
"In conclusion, the Deputy Minister expressed readiness to expand and deepen cooperation by increasing the project portfolio, especially in areas such as the 'green' economy and sustainable energy," the statement said.
KOICA, the Korea International Cooperation Agency, was established to provide grant programs on behalf of the South Korean government in April 1991.
