Kyrgyzstan almost doubled its exports to the EAEU countries over the 10 months of this year, according to the annual report of the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.
In January-October, exports from Kyrgyzstan to the EAEU member countries almost doubled and reached $1.2 billion. At the same time, exports to Russia over the reporting period increased by more than 2.5 time, to $860 million. In addition, the volume of Kyrgyzstan's exports to Belarus doubled to $25 million.
At a recent meeting of the Heads of State of the EAEU, at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Bishkek, 15 documents were approved, including the start of negotiations with the United Arab Emirates on a free trade agreement. Such intentions expand opportunities for export to the EAEU countries.
