Kyrgyzstan exported $55 million worth of goods to the United Arab Emirates, the Ministry of Economic Development of Kyrgyzstan said.
The volume of export deliveries to the Arab country increased by more than five times in 2019-2021, the Economist reports.
Kyrgyzstan increased exports in trade with the UAE from $10 million to $55 million.
The United Arab Emirates mainly imports mechanical and electrical equipment, mineral products, optical equipment, honey, meat products (mutton), cigarettes, nuts (peeled).
Imports from the UAE to Kyrgyzstan increased over this period by 32% - from $11 million to $15 million, these are mainly prepared food products, mechanical and electrical equipment, chemical products, cigarettes, tobacco (for hookah), tea, and raw palm oil.
