The volume of Kyrgyzstan's external and mutual trade in goods for January–October 2024 reached $13.4 billion, an increase of 6.4% compared to the same period in 2023. This is according to data from Kyrgyzstan’s National Statistics Committee, reports Economist.kg.
During this period, exports grew by 25%, while imports increased by 1.8%, reflecting stable demand for foreign goods.
Kyrgyzstan's mutual trade volume with the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) amounted to $4.2 billion, a 13.7% increase compared to January–October 2023.
Key partners of Kyrgyzstan within the EAEU include:
- Russia, accounting for 71.8% of the total mutual trade volume.
- Kazakhstan, with a share of 26.4%.
