Approximately 60 Kyrgyz doctors gathered at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Moscow to discuss the modernization of the national healthcare system. The Minister highlighted several key reforms designed to attract talent back to the country:

  • Income Growth: A systematic increase in salaries for healthcare workers.

  • Infrastructure Development: Modernizing hospitals and equipping them with state-of-the-art medical technology.

  • Social Benefits: Enhanced support packages for young specialists and expanded opportunities for career advancement.

The medical professionals shared their international experience and raised specific concerns regarding professional adaptation and employment prospects in Kyrgyzstan. Following the meeting, several young doctors expressed a readiness to consider returning home to continue their careers.

"The state is deeply interested in the return of our specialists. We are prepared to provide comprehensive support and create dignified living and working conditions at home," emphasized Kanybek Dosmambetov.

The initiative comes at a time when over 700,000 labor migrants from Kyrgyzstan are estimated to be residing in Russia. Reclaiming skilled medical personnel is seen as a strategic priority for strengthening Kyrgyzstan's healthcare resilience.
