The number of registration of foreign citizens increased in Kyrgyzstan by more than 11% over the year, said Deputy Minister of Digital Development of Kyrgyzstan Zhazgul Kiyizbayeva, Akchabar.kg reports.
For the first half of 2022, the number of registered foreign citizens was over 297,000. In the same year (first half), their number grew to 330,000 people, Kiyizbayeva said.
The Deputy Minister also noted that most of the foreigners are citizens staying for work and study, as well as residents of far abroad countries visiting Kyrgyzstan on a tourist visa.
