The volume of exports of Kyrgyzstan in 2022 outside the CIS countries amounted to $493.3 million and decreased by 3.5 times compared to 2021, but Kyrgyzstan was able to increase supplies to the Commonwealth countries by 1.7 times. Such data are provided by the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan, Akchabar reports.
The decrease in the export of goods was mainly due to a decrease in the supply of tobacco and tobacco products by 7.8 times, waste and scrap of ferrous metals - by 3.2 times, polished glass - by 2.2 times, copper waste and scrap - by 15.5 percent, cement, Portland cement - by 17.3%, milk and dairy products - by 3%, ores and concentrates of precious metals - by 14.5%.
“At the same time, there was an increase in export deliveries of clothing items and accessories - 3 times, fruits and nuts - 1.6 times, cotton fiber - by 6.4%, dried legumes - by 23.5%, plastics and products from them - in 1.6 times, coal - 1.7 times,” reports the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.
At the same time, the largest volume in export deliveries fell on Russia, Kazakhstan and Turkey.
